I absolutely cannot believe that a sport, which allows people to beat the **** out of each other, would suspend a guy for this statement. I mean, really?

Now, I'll admit to not following the sport of hockey too much which qualifies my question: Am I missing something? Was one of his exes the daughter of the NHL President or something?

he was referring to elisha cuthbert. i assume she is now dating a member of the calgary flames, who the stars were playing when he made the comment - which by the way was followed immediately by "enjoy the game".

but yeah, you get a 5 minute timeout for fighting, but using a crude term in a press conference warrants this?
