Dallas seafood restaurants

Any suggestions for a family friendly seafood place in the downtown/uptown area? Not cheap but not expensive but def kid friendly.

if you're willing to go a bit further north, say, 1.5-2 miles, there's Fish City Grill on Henderson Avenue. Papadeaux is just a few blocks from the Uptown area as well, around Oaklawn and Lemmon i think.

S&D Oyster Company is on McKinney in Uptown and it's good. It's old school Dallas and definitely kid friendly. Waiters make your cocktail sauce to order at your table. Moderately priced.

If you want to go nicer than that, Dallas Fish Market was named one of the top seafood restaurants in the country. It's upscale and nice. If your kids behave, it'll be fun to be dowtown. It's on Main, near the Iron Cactus and Charlie Palmer.

If you want to go cheaper and just hang out, Hook, Line and Sinker is at Lemmon and McKinney. Good boiled shrimp and cold beer. Very casual atmosphere (order at the counter).

The BEST King crab/lobster joint is lefty's in addison.

If you're tied to the area you specified, go to S&D.

The Fish City Grill recommendation should be ignored at all costs.

Again though, the king crab at lefty's is unreal. they are like baseball bats.
