Westlake - 0

Westlake kept it close most of the first half (0-0 score). Jesuit scores twice on bad decisions by the keeper. Punches the ball out two times when he could have caught the ball. Both resulted in second chance goals for the Rangers.

Jesuit poured it on in the second half and dominated.

Sets up as a Dallas Jesuit v Houston Strake Jesuit final. Way back when I was in high school, Strake Jesuit was our main rival. We beat them for the '78, '79 and '80 TCIL Championships.

TCIL was so sad. I remember going up to Dallas for a X Country meet ( 1986) and sleeping in your weight room floor. We still won that meet

I wonder, other than by legal prescription, how the UIL was convinced to let only Houston-Strake and Dallas Jesuit in from TAPPS?

Strake and Jesuit were kicked out of TAPPS because they were too big.
From what I remember, they were let into UIL competition because the parents pay public school taxes as well as their tuition.
