Dallas Hotels

I need some guidance on choosing a hotel to stay at for Texas/OU Weekend.

In the past, I've stayed at Hotel Zaza; however, this is a group trip now and need a different option.

Where is a good place that is 1.) somewhat cheap (under $200/night) 2.) close to the fun stuff (bars, etc.)

If you wanna stay near the west end or greenville, be prepared to pay over $200 night for something halfway decent.

Try the Sheraton Downtown Dallas or the Westin City Center also in downtown... close to Uptown and Victory Plaza

Think about the Belmont. It is not near anything fun, but its own bar is a good spot. And, it's a pretty simple shot to downtown for any of those bars and through downtown to get to Fair Park.

the Belmont is a great choice although it indeed is not near any action. But it definitely has a great vibe.

Try the Hotel Palomar at Mockingbird Station.

Palomar is a good choice. Westin at Galleria would be another.

You consider $200 a night somewhat cheap? Damn, for me it's more like under 70.
