Compressor fan motor died this morning. Being as the unit is 20 years old and the indoor coils are 10+, a new unit is in order. It's competitive bid time.
I've called Quigley and Avery AC - can someone recommend me a 3rd? It will be a 13-14 seer, 3-3.5 ton unit dur to existing equipment constraints.
Also, any recs on brand? One co. only installs Trane, the other Amana (I believe) or Carrier. Any major questions I should be asking?
