Dallas funiture stores- need suggestions

I sold all my furniture and moving to Dallas soon....need suggestions on furniture stores. Looking for places that arent too pricey for items like a computer desk, dresser, end tables, etc.

"The Dump" in Irving off 635. Great prices especially if you need a dining room table. They have lots of stuff there. Why are you moving to Dallas? I couldn't get out of here fast enough. It's been 5 long years and I'm finally coming home to Austin! Good luck!

My next door neighboor just told me about the Dump last night.

He said it is Haverty quality, but not Haverty prices. I need to check it out too!

I've always had good luck at Weirs on Knox, but mainly with stuff that's been reduced. Haverty's isn't bad either. The Dump's commercials are almost too irritating to justify going out there.

FURNITURE WAREHOUSE

Depending on what level of furniture, Furniture Warehouse could be right up your alley. They have locations on Harry Hines (just south of Walnut Hill), Midway & Simonton (just north of LBJ), and about 2 or 3 others.

The owner is a Texas Ex and a friend of mine. (That's why I'm pimping them.) I also worked a little bit for them many moons ago. You can get sofas, love seats, "occasionals" (end tables & coffee tables), dining tables, breakfast tables, beds, mattresses...

Whatever. Furniture Warehouse with a big ORANGE & WHITE sign. (Original color scheme, huh?
