Dallas/FtWorth Golf Course $50-$100 Range

Going to be in the DFW area in late February, and want to squeeze in a round of golf. Curious what everyone thinks are some of the better public courses with weekend green fees in the $50-$100 range.

I'm open to driving anywhere within the DFW area, so don't need to try to only look at courses in one part of town.

You might be able to squeeze in The Tribute for under $100. Depends on whether they are running a deal.

Otherwise, look at Texas Star, Heritage Ranch or Bridlewood. I have heard good things about Tierra Verde, as well.

I second the Tribute! Texas Star second best.

Grapevine is one of the best munis I've ever seen. Easy to get to, and they keep it in superb condition.

Tribute is great. Texas Star is awesome. Also, depending on your area, I love Golf Club at Castle Hills, Bridlewood, and If you get the itch to gamble, you can take the short drive up 35 to Winstar and play their course. Lots of fun, and then you have the casino there too.

Another favorite of mine is The Links at Waterchase in arlington

Doubt you can find a deal, but the Cowboys Golf Club is the creme de la creme in Dallas.
