I was wondering since our running back situation is largely unsettled if D J could could get a try a running back. I know he is smallish but blazing fast. I was very impressed by that kid from o state that beat usc. Does D J have running back experience?

Jaquizz Rogers and DJ have very different skill sets, although both possess terrific ability. DJ is blazing fast in a straight line but he's not a great cutter, has few moves and certainly doesn't have "the hop". I don't know how fast Rogers is in a straight line, but he is cat quick like Eric Metcalf, has "the hop" from side to side and has tremendous balance.

Except for the fact they are both fairly short and both play RB, not much else similar.

Having watched him from the sideline of the state championship, Jacquizz Rodgers is very fast in a straight line, a curve, and running circles around the defense.

Just as info, DJ simulated Colorado's diminutive rb all last week in practice and did a great job.

Having watched Jacquizz his final 2 years in HS, I disagree that he is blazing fast in a straight line, but he is very quick moving laterally and he has great vision and instincts. He also has tremendous leg strength and although only around 5'5" is probably legitimately 190+ lbs. From the little I saw of DJ in the all-star game they have very different skill sets.
