Any possibility at all of Stubbs coming up and getting some playing time now that both Griffey and Dunn are gone? I am pretty sure he is at AA currently hitting .315. Not sure he has been there that long though.
Stubbs only has 92 AB (0 HR, 9 RBI, 11 BB, 21 K) above A ball, although the .315 BA is certainly an improvement and a promising stat.
I'm guessing the Reds will give him some more time to mature in the minors and get some ABs.
IIRC, their AAA team is pretty dominant right now, and it appears they have 3 OF hitting right around .290 and they are 27, 26, and 23 years old, so they could turn into good big leaguers yet themselves.
