...do we care who wins? Have a preference?

With family ties to VA I'm inclined to hope they come up and win it, and thus take some obnoxious bragging away from the SEC; if it has to be an SEC school, I say Vanderbilt.

The three trips I made to Omaha in early 2000's made some good friends with their fans, good folks, dedicated to their tean but who enjoyed the games win or lose and were fun to be around and talk college baseball with.

I think it will be Gators and Gamecocks in the finals, with Florida winning in Game 3.

But I am hoping for Vandy and Gamecocks which would be a toss up for me.

My preference would be Vir. But Fla-SCar look too good. Never know when you get to these #3-4 pitchers. Vir #1 could pitch next game and force a final game
