Jungmann's ERA is correct as originally listed above (0.59) . He gave up 2 runs at the CWS, but only 1 run was earned. The run from the first LSU game was earned, but the run in the second game was unearned.

Actually felt that Ranaudo did not deserve this. His stats are mediocre. Probably would have given the second spot to Spence or White.

Apparently, AstroVol hasn't watched enough baseball to know the difference between runs and earned runs.

Or maybe he's just not very good at math.

I didn't imply anything, I just told the poster to check his math, as I saw a math error in the way ERA's were being calculated.As for the "inaccuracies" I have been supposedly posting, have you ever considered that published sources are sometimes wrong? Do you see an actual quote that Berry was offered or the author just claiming it was so?But hey, whatever keeps Hornfans talking about the Vols is fine with me.
