in my job i have 13 apps open at once and get numerous popups.
email/aol/trading apps etc.
In our old Sun Sparc system you could set it so the app you are typing in REMAINS at front and the cursor stays in that app until you move it with your mouse.
What happens now is anytime I get a popup (and I've gotten 5 since i started typing this post) it moves my cursor to that popup so I lose my trext or it types into another window than I want it typed in.
is there a way in Windows to duplicate this function, i.e. so popups do theri thing IN THE BACKGROUND?
It's really killing me.
It's maddening.
