It's not often that UT has to compete w/ CU on a major recruit. But here's a quick comparison:

Listen, UT is clearly the better football school, but Boulder is a great town. The politics are not really to my liking, but you can find plenty of that in Austin too. Boulder is absolutely beautiful and there is a ton of stuff to do. You can argue the weather issue either way depending on personal preferences, but understand that Boulder is not the Midwest. To my knowledge, Boulder gets more days of sunshine per year than Austin. I don’t believe that every Horn practice is in the bubble in the summer. Maybe it is, but Boulder in August is darn nice…August in Austin on the other hand is downright unpleasant.

Austin and Boulder each have about 300 days of sunshine a year. It all depends on whether you prefer 95F for a while or 10F for a while.

It is a lot easier to cool off in the summer when it is hot (plunge into Barton Springs for example) than it is to warm up in the winter in Boulder when it is cold as hell. You can't very well plunge into a roaring fire now can you.

When your talking about weather consider the clothes people esar...Austin women have a year round wiggle and Jiggle while in Boulder the spring thaw must be fully established before the hooded parkas open up and you can see those ummm bulky sweaters and thermal bib ski suits...YEAH,,,It is "perky" weather in Austin year round...

Im just saying...

of all the things that UT football has over CU football, why bring up weather?

the number of football players that die in Texas each and every year from heat related instances, is more than the sum total of players that have ever died from the cold weather in CO.

Jesus Herbert Christ!

Signing day can not get here quick enough.

This stupid banter about ******* weather is mind-numbingly painful to process.

Austin gets hot. Boulder gets cold. I think it's been covered a hundred ******* times already.

last recruit UT lost to CU: Marcus Houston, the Buffs ruined a great kid.
last recruit CU lost to UT: Kasey Studdard, NFL or Lamarr Houston, stud

Weather comparison was meant as a footnote to the OP. Regarding football, there is no comparison between UT & CU.

It's like comparing OU versus Princeton in academics. Or comparing OU versus UT in academics. Or comparing OU to Austin Community College in academics.

I just ordered a Jimmy John's #1 Pepe sandwich for lunch and OH BOY I CAN'T WAIT TILL IT GETS HERE. YUM YUM!!!

Oh and BTW - in Houston today (Jan 30th) it's 51F outside. Comfy.
