CU Game Time?

I'm trying to get a flight booked for the game, and if at all possible I'm hoping to fly back after the game Saturday evening/night. That said, I was wondering if anybody had heard anything about when this game might start. I'm assuming it will either be 11am or 2pm (central), but if anybody has any clue as to which, I'd be quite thankful.

ESPN likes to put Colorado games on at night, and they have a tentative 4:30 window on the big 12 schedule for that week. Mack even hinted that it could be another 9:00 PM start like the UTEP game.

I believe that every Texas at CU game going back to the early 90's was an afternoon game. I do not recall a night game at Boulder with Texas as the visitors.

Which really has nothing to do with this years TV schedule. If I was a betting man, I would say 1:30MST.

It looks like ABC already has its two regional primetime games (7pm) set - Oregon @ USC and Ohio State @ Wisconsin. I thought that Mizzou-Nebraska might get the prime time treatment, but I guess not.

So that puts Mizz-Neb at 2:30pm. I'd say that's nearly a lock.

I'd say Texas-Colorado is the #2 most intriguing Big XII game of that weekend, so I'd expect to see it at 6pm on FSN. Texas Tech-K State could have been in that spot, but KState's loss last night definitely takes some shine off of that game.

Other slots are 11:30am and 6:30pm on Versus and 11:00am on FSN.

I haven't seen where Mack "hinted" at any 9pm kickoff...which would be silly anyway since he has no control over those decisions. I guess in theory it could happen. My TV schedule is not showing any slots on ESPN2 for Saturday night football on 10/4. The SEC schedule is extremely light that weekend, so unless someone can prove that it's impossible, I believe ESPN has the rights to option one of our conference games to their networks.

When we opened the season up there in both '89 and '93 they were night games, but that was pre-Big 12...personally I'd prefer another 9PM kick, but I don't know if it's the best thing for the team...

I believe 89 and 93 were like part of ESPN Quad headers and kickoffs were late afternoon. You would have an 11 kickoff, 2 kickoff, 5 kickoff and 8 kickoff. Moving East to West. I may be off a little.

These games were like 1/2 game day, 1/4 game twilight, 1/4 game night.
Folsum Fields lights are horrible. They finished under the lights, I was probably intoxicated and didn't remember the endings so well, as they took us to the wood shed both times.
