Lowell Galindo doesn't usually bother me, but I got tired of hearing him complain about the crowd. Strong said after the game that he thought the crowd was great, but it was his first experience at DKR.
Texas fans will just, in general, file in minutes before the game, and leave en mass when the a victory is assured.
Good crowd. Some empty seats around, but not that noticeable until after halftime. It was really hot, and a lackluster opponent didn't create a sellout.
The atmosphere was more lively than many home games I have attended against better opponents, though. There was excitement due to the new coaching staff. Fans were into the game.
We did not sell out the stadium for North Texas and we never will. That 93000 came out on a sticky night is about right. If we were playing Auburn, it would have been a full house.
