I thought he would be the attrition guy before Walker was booted off the team, but then he'd get his chance as the 3-point specialist. Guess not.

Many of the news releases said that the school announced his full release "in a tersely worded statement." Anyone got an idea what the statement said? Did he piss off Coach Barnes or someone in the administration?

Shame that it happened right after he'd had his best outing of the year and had made a good case for more playing time. Maybe that case went unheeded? Or maybe Barnett's progress along with Yancy's more consistent performance was just the writing on the wall for him?

Regardless, it's a shame, but it might be in his best interest. With the guards coming in, future playing time for him was in no way a given...

I would have thought it would be easier to get to Orlando from Austin than from Murray,Ky.

But good luck to Croaker and props for wanting to be a part of his son's life
