And this is all something a first year defensive assistant coach (who doubles as a history teacher) at Sinton High School could readily figure out after the first game or so.

Probably would have known it going on for the job interview. How can you convince them, but it is seemingly always done, that you can coach defense when you have no clue what you are coaching against?
