Cris Carter replacing Sean Salisbury at ESPN

On the surface, it seems like an upgrade. Hopefully they'll just let Carter do his thing, and won't create fake arguments with an alien-like John Clayton.

No word on whether he'll show pictures of his dong to the ladies in the office.

Glad to hear it. I never like Salisbury. Those "arguments" with Clayton were ridiculous. Definitely an upgrade... although it wouldn't have taken much to be one.

Glad people like SS and Trev Alberts get what they deserve. Hodge is next. SS was overhyped by his fellow ESPN analysts (I never understood why) and by himself (he thought he was God's gift to women--must be the water at USC). He once said that Mark Schlerett (?) couldn't carry his jock in terms of football analysis. What a doofus. Good riddance.

Dude owns a home in Frisco. Right?

Any chance he'll find his way onto DFW radio until he finds a new national gig. I accidently tuned into the Michael Irvin show last week. It was HORRIBLE.

I am always surprised by some ex players who dont seem to know to know anything about the game, and has been said before they fade away never to be heard from again.

Didn't realize there was so much pent-up Salibury hate out there.

I was indifferent towards him. Hen was ok, but his shtick was as much a product of ESPN producers as it was his own personality. I must admit I laughed my *** off in Benchwarmers when he knocked the head off that maniquin.

For those that missed it

The story making the rounds was that he took a pic of his johnson and used his phone to email it to female staffers.

And he still didnt get whacked. Makes you wonder what Harold Reynolds did.

Helen Keller >> Cris Carter

Cris Carter was terrible on Inside the NFL. He could lose an argument to a third grader. He made no sense, and Collinsworth continually busted on him.

How ESPN can call itself the World Wide Leader in Sports while employing Emmitt Smith, Merrill Hoge, and now Cris Carter is beyond me.

As for Salisbury, he'll no doubt be hanging out in Uptown trying to pick up chicks. "Do you know who I am? I was an NFL QB. Wanna go to Fearing's, then back to my place?"

Would love to hear a radio show with Salisbury and Greggo.

Greggo: Hey Keyshawn, tell Sean Salisbury he wasn't that great.

Keyshawn: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Well, he is one of my best friends . . .
