From the reviews, it sounds like Bridges alone made the movie what it is.

The Ryan Bingham song that serves as the movie's theme is getting a lot of Oscar hype too. Torn on this one because I've seen him twice this year for a total of $19...not going to be able to do that again if the rest of the country gets to know him. If you haven't had a chance to check this guy out and you remotely enjoy country/alt-country, don't hesitate...one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

And, it's about damn time the Dude won himself an Oscar...like PSH for Capote, I'd just consider it a lifetime achievement award based on his performance in Lebowski.

Can't wait to see this movie.

In a world of Clooneys, Di Caprios, Penns etc, Jeff Bridges becomes way too underappreciated. Truly one of our finest actors. Watch his interview on Charlie Rose from 12/16, great interview.
