I hate to say it, but the OU fans' version of the story seems more plausible, especially once they posted their video clip of mom dancing and her son doing his best puffed-chest version of "don't make me come down there" while they filmed it.

I don't dispute that everyone involved in this story are ********, but a mom of teenagers should know how to stay out of situations where she A. flips off people filming her while she drunk dances, and B. allows her punkass son to keep sending threats the OU fans' way.

The whole bottle throwing thing was nonsensical and irrelevant. Even if they were doing that, she put that in her side of the story to save face for herself.

I always felt like OU fans at the Cotton Bowl were pretty well-behaved and reasonable people, certainly much better than dealing with Tech, Colorado, or Arkansas fans.
