'Crazy Ants' threatening Texas

Ugh. I hate ants. Even crazy ants wouldn't make me miss fire ants though. Maybe we can set the entirety of the two species up for a big battle that will result in mutual annihilation.

I'm more disturbed that I am allocating brain storage to remember that this was previously posted than I am about the northward march of the ants.

They are also in west Texas... I have a crazy aunt who lives out there.

Oddly enough, even after all the rain we've gotten the past week or not I haven't seen any ant mounds around here yet.

I wonder why this particular species is "Crazy" when many other ant species move quickly and erratically. I thought I saw some here in Austin last week, but after looking up some YouTube videos, I think what I saw were Argentine Ants.
