I just had one of these and it is ALLSOME!!! French roll sliced open, filled with crawfish tails and a creole sauce with a heap of cheese baked on the top and a side of shrip-seasoned rice!! I highly recommend it, but of course I highly recommend everything at Pacific Star!!!
Oh, believe me I'm VERY familiar with their gumbo! That and the Star Platter are all I usually get, so the pirogue was a change of pace for me. Now I want to try a lot more of the stuff on the menu that I haven't had before!
There are two of them, HOTB. One at Anderson Mill and 183 and one in Round Rock at 79 and I-35, by the DQ and El Arroyo.
If any of y'all are interested, I was talking to the owner at a Round Rock Chamber of Commerce function and he hooked me up with a ton of discount cards for the RR location that are worth $5 off a food ticket of $15 or more. I'm happy to share if y'all PM me! The food is great, but even more allsome with a discount of up to 33%!!!
