Cracked Laptop screen

I do have the extended warranty with Best Buy but I doubt that they will cover this. I researched online and found some sites that sell replacements for $260. Should I just take it to Best Buy and have them fix it or are there cheaper alternatives?

EDIT

I found a website that sells the screen for $83. I youtubed how to replace the screen and it looks simple enough. This will be the cheapest way.

What is the website selling them for $83?

I have a laptop with a cracked screen and the replacement screen costs more than what the computer is worth on the sites I have looked.

Well that was simple. I got the screen in today and had the laptop up and running within 15 minutes. You will need a set of tiny phillips screwdrivers and I had to use some tweezers to hold the screws, but that is it. Pretty straight forward. I cant believe that people charge up to $700 for this.
