Cowboys.com calling evil Roy out

Good article from Mick...he speaks the truth and it's time for Roy to either adapt and get better or keep bitching and continue to hinder the defense.

Do you ever get the feeling Jones uses his writers on Cowboys.com to convey messages to his players in some form or another?

It's definitely way past put-up-or-shut-up time for Roy...

Mick knows what he writes about, gets it right a lot more than he doesn't, and is right on with this one. The evil Roy needs to pay attention, but with that fine blow-u education, I doubt he will.

Speaking of the Cowboys and Rowdy, has anyone noticed that the guys on The Ticket don't (i.e., are not allowed to) call him "***-Whip" anymore, now that they're the Cowboys' "flagship" station? And even though Rowdy is still a tremendous ***-whip.

Evil Roy couldn't cover a mattress with a sheet. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Roy Williams made a career off one play. One play. And he didn't even follow his coach's instructions on that play.

He doesn 't deserve Pro Bowl recognition, he doesn't deserve that fat contract, he doesn't deserve to be in the starting lineup, and he sure as hell doesn't deserve those supporters he wants. Not until he proves he can play his position better that anyone else in the league.

Isn't that was the Pro Bowl is supposed to be for?

I agree with pretty much all that The Drake said.

I'm one of RW's biggest critics in recent years, but people that keep bringing up that one play career crap are dead wrong.

He was never great in coverage. In college he could get away with it but not in the NFL.

He was an incredible hitter but he can't even do that any more. When he blitzes, he runs to the RB and stands up and stops. When he does go for the big hit, he either bounces off or whiffs .

I think he either signed a big contract and got lazy or he has had one too many collisions just doesn't want to anymore.

That's about it...if evil Roy ever was much of a player, he's not anymore, and if JJ is even half smart, the Cowboys would go ahead and cut their loss with him.

Let me put this in simple terms a blow-u fan can understand. In today's NFL, how long do you hold on to a non-productive player? In a best case scenario, JJ finds a team out there dumb enough to be a taker in a trade, thus dodging the financial hit. He then finds anyone capable of producing better than evil Roy currently is to fill the spot.

If JJ doesn't find a taker, he's eventually gonna have to cut ties with him anyway. Either way, unless evil Roy lights a fire under his butt, and soon, he'll lose the star on his helmet.

...and by the way, I'd say the same thing about an ex-Horn that wasn't doing anything more on the field than evil Roy lately. When bad play becomes a trend, you get rid of the bad player, any way you can.

P.T. Barnum had it right when he said there's a sucker born every minute. Some team out there would gamble on evil Roy and his Pro Bowls, if the price is right. I doubt JJ could get better than a conditional fourth for Williams, but who knows, the 'Boys might get lucky with that fourth and draft someone who actually is a player. Like I said...in a perfect world, JJ finds a taker. In a less perfect world, sooner or later, the 'Boys cut their losses with Williams if he doesn't get back to playing some football. Take off the crimson and cream glasses, and you'll see that the Cowboys can't afford to hold on to a non-performing Williams, who is on record as not worrying about his fans, and doesn't want the ball thrown in his direction. Pacman's not as much of a liability as Williams, as long as he stays away from Northwest Highway.

The Link

Interesting article on Roy's current position. I sort of feel sorry for him at this point. To be so delusional that he's working out by himself and changing his jersey number? the defense is "not suited for him"? He hasnt been right since the horse collar became illegal.
