Why did Coach Stephen get talked into coaching in H-town today? He treated a glam HS team, like an FBS team. Playground ball was the way to call today, and they did for a bit… but when it went away, Coach Stephen was confused.

But next 2 months getting a W is only thing that counts. So it’s all good?

Not sure if this is Rod Babers or someone who listens to the Horn, but his reference to "Coach Stephen" is to Rod calling him Stephen after a mediocre and uncreative play calling game. Basically saying he goes into a "comfort play calling" mode where he doesn't really think.

After the 1st Qtr I saw a lot of Quinn checking down because players were covered downfield. I wouldn't call that comfort play calling. Maybe the players were covered, maybe Quinn wanted to up his completion %, but I don't call that comfort play calling.
