For atmosphere, sight lines, proximity to the action -- that might be the best stadium in footballdom. Better than the Shoe, Big House, JerryWorld, Swamp, Happy Valley.

Looks like a two story bull ring.

Nice update. Thanks. By the way, the "Enter" key in between [/IMG] and

Forgot to post a few pics of the DART line update too. Im not sure if its going to be finished before Fair time, they have a lot of work to do on it also.

Thanks for the update. Very nice. I sure hope they get the Dart line finished. It will make it so much easier and faster for me and the wife, who can't walk very far without resting.

It has such a classically beautiful structure. I enjoy the older stadiums that are filled with luxury boxes and such. Just fans who want to sit out under the sun and watch some football.

The DART green line isn't going to be finished until September of 2009, so barring any delays, parking in the front lawns of ghetto-dwellers will be history by the next RRR (not that there's anything wrong with that).

Did Tech-OSU ever confirm which stadium they will play in? An article in the DMN from April indicated that it Pickens at least likes JerryWorld.

It's a shame that the Aggies and Piggies will play at JerryWorld. I know money talks, and they do not have the same tradition playing at The Cotton Bowl like Texas-OU. However, The Cotton Bowl rocks.

An associate at work tells me that the Tech/OSU deal to go to Jerryworld is all but announced. However, he also assured me several years ago that Boeing's move of their headquarters to the Dallas area was in the bag.

We'll have to see.

There were only 3 games before and now 2. As long as people patronize other business in Dallas, they will reach what they want to do. I doubt the venue itself is totally expected to make up all the money.

probably could justify it based on Tx/Ok extending their contract now and possibly in the future.

Hook'em!!!
