Has anyone signed on to the Nebraska video link on the UT web site. It says it is free but when you log onto the link it wants money. Only the audio says it is free. If anyone tried it and can let us know if it really is free it would be appreciated.

I was able to watch both the games yesterday free at the Nebraska site (may have had to click two three links and get to the prper place to find it). The first one seemed to be Nebraska athletics' feed with mostly a fixed single camera above/behind the plate. The second game had the CBS feed with multiple cameras etc.

Oh it was free all right. Problem is when I tried to watch the video it was terrible. So I just went to the second option - going to the free audio and getting Greg Sharpe and Lane Grindle which is always a good option.

I'm sure you're wondering who you heard during the first telecast. That was Greg Sharpe and Lane Grindle. Sharpie has become a respected figure for most of us - he does the football and baseball games on the radio. Finally, we can take our radios to the games again after having to put up with Jim Rose for five years. He's no Lyell Bremser (who was the man that called the 71 GOTC) or Kent Pavelka (he used to be the voice of the football team during two of the title years in the 90s and was the PBP guy I grew up with, but now does basketball with Matt Davison) but we like him still.

I had no problem with the video, and it was free. However, I got to the video viaThe Link in the upper right corner and not via the link on the UT site.
