Texags says Corey now has a visit to Austin next weekend & some poster says his coach indicated he has had a change of heart about ags.

Any truth to this???

One proposed theory is that we are starting to lose ground to tosu with Hicks.

I can't quote Jerry Scarbrough and True Orange... but let me add that Mr. Nelson visiting Austin this weekend or next with Mike Davis is a very distinct possibility! And Aggy is all in a frenzy about it!!!

Texags has removed the Corey Nelson threads from their recruiting board. One guy started a thread asking where the CN thread went, & now that has disappeared also.
Makes me wonder if they have some kind of good info that they perceive as bad?

apparently not. this doesn't mean that it won't happen, but my impression is we want corey to be sure he wants a change before anything more transpires.

i gather that when mike davis contacted the staff it wasn't an iffy thing at all.

i think something like that is what they'd need to hear from corey.

No, he didnt make it in, but he did contact the coaches. It sounds like Davis has been in contact with the coaches for sometime and they felt that he really wanted to be a longhorn. I think they want Nelson to have the same response, keep talking to them, and if he really likes Texas, he will make the trip and the coaches will offer (hopefully).
