This could be a useful tool to introduce accountability into the system. For example, people who voted to put OU in the BCSCG in '04 or Michigan in '06 shouldn't be permitted to vote again. That should go for reporters, Harris voters, coaches, and computers.

It's just as stupid for this guy to pass judgment on preseason rankings as the idea of preseason rankings itself. It's all for fun at this point.

in my opinion, the preseason & initial rankings do unfortunately hold some weighted value because some years when there are several but no clear-cut #1 / #2 candidates, voters seem to defer to their pre-season ranking, which is lazy ********.

And sometimes it seems like voters will give a 2-loss team the benefit of the doubt over a more deserving team because the 2-loss team was the preseason #1.
