They were scrumptious. The only thing I might would try different next time is to not leave them on the grill so long after removing from the oven. I probably did an additional 45 mins on the grill, but might have preferred closer to 15.

Overall though, this method is fairly close to the way I used to cook baby back ribs. I think I got started doing it because I ran out of wood/coal for the smoker one day, so I had to finish them in the oven. Found out that makes them very tender. I've always used a different rub, but the pepper in the Montreal Steak was a nice touch.
 
Yeah, it's called a 3-2-1 method, but I usually do closer to 3-1.5-.5; about half an hour back on the smoke is plenty to firm them up a bit.

Glad they turned out well.
