Does anyone know of a good appllication that will convert an mpg to an mp3? I'd like to record just the audio from a movie clip onto a cd. Thanks.

you can use 'virtualdub'.
its a free program that can do all kinds conversions.
the interface of the program is a little advanced and might require a little getting used to though.
