They should kill this agency before it really gets off the ground. You have invitation coordinators making over 100k a year. Does anybody realize how much a party planner at a large corporation makes in comparison? Good to know that the gov is looking to cut costs while we are running a trillion deficit a year.

I was amazed this brand new agency already had 700 people working there.

now they are hiring an event planner and data base maintainer and for only 103k a year plus bennies:

I have never felt so unamerican as I do now. The leader of this country is just drunk with spending.

I am starting to think about Texas becoming independent again, I don't think the rest of the country would have a problem, just let us go and you can spend all the money you want. You don't want the military either, no problem we can move them to Texas and shut down the border.

Making no judgment on the CFPB...this appears to be a pretty technical role rather than the "wedding organizer"-ish title it was given. At least, if the job is done right they'd get a DBA that could also has JAVA or .NET skills.

You can't find those roles for $50k. Now, do they need this role is another argument I'm not qualified to weigh in on.
