Connor's 'foul'

Didn't see a game thread up but I'd love to know how Connor fouled him on the lob pass. I saw nothing but an amazing block. Anyone?

That was a really, really nice block. I think it, along with two or three other UT fouls, was a makeup call for a bad call the other direction earlier in the game.

He got him with the off arm in the chest, I didnt see a foul at all either at first. That is a big boy to just go down that hard on his own also.

Regardless of how big you are, you can still go down hard without being fouled. Even if you are blocked cleanly (i.e., all ball), your momentum is clearly stopped and changed, which can cause you to fall, hard.

I watched on replay multiple times and didn't see the foul. At first I thought he got him with the body but after the replay I saw no signs of this. Bad call or not, I like Connor being active like that.

I was at the game. I thought it was a borderline flop. My ou friends didn't agree with me.

Place was at least a third empty. They tripled the prices for the game and it bit them in the butt.

Blake Griffin is a stud, but he seems to be a punk to me.

As a horn fan, blake griffin does not appear to be a punk at all. If he wasn't a Sooner, I think I'd like him. Extremly fundamental, plays hard, does the right things, and doesn't make a show of it. Reminds me a lot of Tyler Hansborough, without the ridiculousness.

And I think the block was a foul more by anticipation than anything. Whether he got all ball or not, he was still going right over his back and his head....it can LOOK like a foul. It's just the way it is in basketball; fast paced game with fallible humans trying to slow it down in their minds.
