Nah. I'm not buying it. I love Connor, but he's not the top senior prospect this year. He's not even the best 6'10", 230 lbs PF prospect. Josh Heytvelt takes that prize.

Based on how he played last year that's not a massive stretch. He's been bad this year, and not sure why, but he's clearly capable of a lot more. If he could figure it out before tournament time it would be a huge boost.

IMO, there were high expectations for CA coming into this season. Based on his play thus far, it's obvious he hasn't lived up to expectations. Given where he started 4 years ago, CA has progressed quite a bit.

He has the tools that scouts like, especially for a big man. He can stretch the defense with his jump shot, rebound, and block shots. Granted he can go completely brain dead at times, but his skill set is quite good, believe it or not.

I would expect to see him invited to the Portsmouth Invitational this April. How he performs there will either hurt or help his potential draft status. Almost every NBA team will have representatives on site in addition to the throngs of international scouts.

I am going this year and plan to write as much as I can about the players, games, etc.

Glad someone on here recalls Bobby Jones... I do think we would know if someone of his caliber was on the team.

Unless something changes and soon, Connor won't play pro ball anywhere. He is completely lost.

Although everyone would have thought Connor was insane if he had left early for the NBA last year....could that actually have been a better move for him?
