student athletes are often allowed to use university computers while on the road, or even while at home. There is a large computer lab just for athletes in the Dana X. Bible Center in Belmont. It isn't illegal. It is something that is allowed per the NCAA.
The computers aren't 'given' to the students, they are allowed usage of them.
