connection problem

Recently, every time I attempt to access the login page to many sites (ebay, credit card, bank, etc.), I get redirected to the perfectnav page, indicating that the page I tried to connect to is not available. It is not when I actually attempt to log in, but rather when I attempt to go from the homepages to the login pages. At least I know that my info is not being stolen since I am not being afforded the opportunity to enter it in the first place.

Also, at the same time, another prblem started to occur, when I click "send/receive" in Outlook, a window pops up saying "operation failed". Outlook stills performs the standard new message check every few minutes, but I can't make it send and receive on my own.

I have Norton and have gone through all the steps and nothing comes up. Any ideas? Thanks.

you have the perfectnav spyware. here is a link to manually uninstall it: here
this topic just came up several days ago here, and someone pointed a link to a more comprehensive, anti-spyware software solution.
