Normally I would save this for if the Horns were to win a title. But this is no normal situation. seriously, this UT group has captured my interest.

I've been following this tournament, but admittedly not quite as actively as if my team was involved. But I can't ignore something like this - your team's got some massive stones. 25 innings last night, 6-10 to 14-10 in the blink of an eye tonight. That team of yours has major heart, major guts and that's definitely a team I'll be taking a look at for the rest of the tournament.

I just hope to be back in the tournament next year. Just been a long, long year.

Thanks, Husker. Definitely a strange tournament without Big Red.

The signs are certainly encouraging, but I'm keeping my expectations grounded. For now, I'd be happy with a return to Omaha. I just don't consider these 'Horns good enough to win it all, but they're gradually changing my mind.
