'Congrats to. .the dirty Mexicans in San Antonio'

Wow. To get suspended by the Ticket you must be completely OOB, which clearly he was.
wtf.gif

He says that he made a "horrible mistake." I'm sure that he thinks the mistake is that he said this on a public medium and that others saw it. Instead of making an apology for this he needs to look deep into his soul and view the prejudice that is there.

He said he "embarrassed myself". That comment alone is exhibit 1 for the notion that he isn't sorry.

It ain't about you and your feelings, buddy.

He should be given an all-expense paid vacation to Ciudad Juarez for his extended leave of absence.
I'm assuming he will be looking for employment in a different field soon.

Things I've heard in SA:

"Stompale' Spurs!"

"We're Gonna Sweep Em!" (Even when the other team has already won a game.)

apparently throwing a gopher ball that became Barry Bond's 756 HR was not enough noteriety for Mr. Bacsik

I've been to many Mav- Spur games and this doesn't surprise me at all. The Mavs have a great team and many great fans but there is an element of Mav fans who routinely run this type of smack when they lose to S.A.

My brother taught Mike B in high school at Bishop Dunne. He was always considered a nice guy. This disappoints me.

The dirty Mexicans and I will be enjoying watching our Spurs in the next round of the playoffs, while the $30K millionaires from Douchebag City watch from home.

pretty sure that Najera is from Chihuahua. he certainly could be part Indian...if you're at all familiar with the notion of "La Raza Cosmica," you know may know what I'm talking about. I don't know, though...he's pretty guero.

anyways, pretty sure he played at least a year of HS BB in San Antonio.

so anyways....Indian as in Native American? don't think so.

I haven't seen a link that confirms he has been fired but if its true,
I'm actually surprised he wasn't fired sooner.

IMHO, if he would have said "...dirty jews", "...dirty blacks", "...dirty gays", he would have been fired on the spot, practically.
As well he should.

I know Mike and he is usually a pretty tame guy that doesn't drink too much. Alcohol does funny things to just about everyone if you drink enough of it.
Keep in mind he does have a wife and three kids, so they are part of all this too.
Yes he screwed up, but how are his comments anything different than what Howard Stern says on the radio every day?

Texanne, he went to Duncanville High School.

Stern is on a subscription-based service known for "open" criticisms of public people, like his rant about morbidly obese people and Gaborey Sidibe from Precious. Bacsik is on the regular airwaves for sports talk. Very different markets.

My bad. I don't live in DFW so I've never heard him on the radio. I didn't know this was Bacsik the Lesser. My brother taught Bacsik the Elder at BD.

Sorry for the error.

A fan saying something racist or insensitive is just a fan. Teams don't fire their fans.
A radio personality is going to be fired over something like this, almost guaranteed. Surprised it took a day or two to happen.
