For me, back in the late 60s and eaarly 70s, it was hockey. Gus Kyle I think was the play by play, or was it Dan Kelly....Anyways, I can still hear "HE HIT (slight pause) THE GOAAALPOST" by the commentator. Tim Ecclestone had to lead the leeague in hitting the goalposts.

Ah, and listening to Buck was cool too
