Congrats Fresno State

I'm really glad I got to see FSU when they played at ASU. They were a pretty damn special team and peaked at the right time.

that was sweet. congrats FSU. hope to see Horns back there one of these years real soon.

Really good to see them win their first national championship. A good buddy of mine from computer training days is smiling now in the "Big Valley".
Way to go dogs!

Wow. One of the top 10 stories of the year I think.

Had to win conference tournament to get into field of 64 post season. Was first #4 seed to make the CWS since 1999.

Congratulations to a team that proved you don't have to be the biggest dog in the fight, just the scrappiest.

"It goes to show you don't need that first-round draft pick on your team to win that national championship," left fielder Steve Susdorf said. "You need 25 guys. We were all committed to the team. No one was about himself."

This team was held together by gauze, tape, and spirit.

The quote is also why we haven't been back in the last couple of years. Less superstars and more team play.

Amazing sports feel-good story, especially the fielder who drove in all six runs in the final game despite having the extremely painful torn thumb ligament. Most people pick the underdog in a neutral situation, and there was none bigger than Fresno State this year in the CWS.
