Knocking off notre dame, stanford, and baylor is a pretty big accomplishment. Wish my horns could have gotten it done in a major sport in the last year. Yeah it's women's, but this is still a step up from golf.

At least a team from texas won it all. Maybe next year it'll be the good guys-er, girls.

I liked Baylor up to the point that Griner punched that player and only missed one game and wasnt suspended for the rest of the year last year.

Since that point, she can eat dirt and I hope she never wins a title. Punk. Congrats aggies. Better than OU winning it.

I generally could care less if agricultural wins anything in any sport, but I've gotta admit I like their women's basketball team. They're good, they play really solid fundamental basketball, and the players seem humble. Nobody gave them the championship, they earned it, and they've certainly earned my congratulations.

As much as I admire what the lady aggies accomplished, there's just something humorous about the fact that the school's greatest athletic accomplishment in the last 70 years is in women's basketball.

They are going in the right direction in their womens dept. A&M has beat Texas in football and mens BBall plenty of times recently, so don't go acting like they can't beat us.

Whoa...tap the brakes...certainly they CAN beat us. But claiming a women's basketball championship and them beating us in 2010 football is not proving their resurgent potency or some wild swing of power here. Let's not get ahead of ourselves...last I checked we swept them in basketball and owned them in baseball last several years in a dominating fashion (which is the current sport going). IMO, you only have bragging rights for the past season when the current season hasn't arrived. And I'm not about to claim bragging rights in womens athletics even if we did have them. I'd be proud, but not boasting.

On the men's front...they own rights in football, we own them in basketball, and until we play in baseball we still have dominance over them. We're currently tied atop the Big12 standings, so when we play the Ags in baseball, I'd suggest we Horn fans come out in force as losing that series will give them 2 of the big 3.

As for women's basketball, yes I strongly congratulate their team and the great season they produced, very impressive. Now put the women and children back to bed and let's play some baseball.
