You can get the latest full versions of windows and office for something like $35-$45 if that is any indication on the rest of the prices. Unfortunately, I forgot to buy extras before I graduated last year.
Microsoft discounts are better than the rest. Regardless of the MS product you buy, it's only about $5-6 per CD. Visual Studio .NET for ~$30? Insane.
Don't expect quite as big a discount on other brand software, though. They're comparable to educational discounts you can get at just about any retailer that offers discounts.
I only recommend buying software and those specialized computer packages from them. Everything else, (computer parts and other accessories) are a rip off.
