how much does it cost to fix one? my ibook screen is starting to freeze and stuff. had it for a long time, and this is the first thing that has happened. how much do you think it will cost me????

If it's not under warranty...go buy a new ibook. It's gonna cost you an arm and a leg to get a laptop screen fixed. If it really is the screen's fault that is.

What do you mean the screen "freezes?" Are you sure it's not the OS freezing?

yeah i am pretty sure the is a wire loose or something. any time i pick it up or move the screen a little the mouse wont move, or if it does, you cant click on anything. i took it to the apple store last night, and they said they can do it for a $280 flat rate. sounds good to me.

just buy the extended warrantee for a couple/few hundred... you can buy it after the fact I think from apple.
otherwise... 1000$.
