Computer Problems Again!

Is the Joke.Move.Mouse program still around? This morning when I booted up my home computer and went into Windows the cursor was jumping all over the screen. Then when I would attempt to move the cursor with the mouse as soon as I moved the cursor down it would jump to the top of the screen again! I had to start using key strokes to navigate around to start the anti-spyware program. Is this spyware/virus problem or a driver problem?

My subscript. to Norton ran out last month and I decided to go with Avast AntiVirus and use the MS firewall to see how things went. The experiment is not going too well as two days after uninstalling Norton something corrupts a start-up file and now this.

Also, anyone have any good free spam blocker suggestions? I had no idea how dependent I had become on the Norton spam blocker until it was removed.

I remember problems I had like this a few years ago. Either the mouse was not plugged in securely, or something with the driver was screwy. And this was before what people knew what adware and spyware were.

Thanks for the suggestion. I check the connection when I get home. Maybe it was just the damn useless cat that knocked the connection loose(i should be so lucky)
