computer help

[WinStreak]

After turning on my computer today, i found out that my computer isnt showing any icons anymore except for the desktop icons. my start icon is gone and the whole taskbar is all white. when i open internet explorer, i see no icons on the tool bar, just words. when i open up the start menu, i dont see any color or icons either....words only.
Any help will be appreciated.

i did that already.
also when i try to open up AIM i get a message saying "cant open file because configuration is incorrect"

tried installing norton....same message
