Commentary is driving me INSANE...

In the 9th last night:
"The rule is you don't bunt to tie in the 9th" What the F do you mean you don't bunt to tie? If you don't at least tie, the game is over and you LOSE. As anemic as the Rangers bats were last night, Elvis HAS to try and put down the bunt, let alone the fact he has the speed to beat one out.

Maybe I have just watched UT baseball for far too long, and maybe I am out of touch with MLB, but I literally had to stop myself from throwing something at my TV last night when I heard that.

Then, when Andrus makes it to second on the throw:
"If Pujols doesn't touch that ball and slow it down, Andrus is out at 2nd" How many times did they replay that? The ball looked like it might have lightly brushed a lace on Pujols' glove MAYBE. It never changed direction and I can't believe it affected the speed. If Pujols had fielded it, he may have had a shot, but it would've been a tough play, but to say he screwed it up for the catcher is nuts.

These guys are gonna kill me if the Rangers don't first.

Turn the sound down and just enjoy the game, or tune it in on radio. Seeing small ball in the top of the ninth to win the game is just totally awesome. It's the polar opposite to Cruz's walk-off homer in the playoffs - makes for some really great baseball.

FOX is horrible when it comes to baseball.

How many times is McCarver going to say it was a fastball and then they do the slow mo replay and it is clearly a curveball, both the rotation of the ball and the release of the ball from the pitchers hands.

He is so old and past his prime. Joe Buck ah he is alright nothing to write home about.

Where is Al Michaels when you need him, his baseball is the best!!!!

I thought it was hilarious when in the first inning of game one McCarver said he expected Elvis to bunt. really? First of all, it's pretty obvious he has done zero homework. Second, I guess McCarver, who was a decent analyst at one time, maybe 6,7 years ago, doesn't realize he's watching an AL team that doesn't bunt unless circumstances dictate, mostly late in games.

We can bunt, but we don't do it a as a general practice in the 1st inning. (Maybe McCarver confused Texas Rangers baseball with Texas Longhorn baseball?)

I actually disagree with whoever said they're tired of McCarver and Buck trying to play manager, because it makes for great comedy. They're wrong so much of the time, it's pretty funny.

Speaking of commentary, I wish I knew what Ozzie Guillen just said on the post game show. I think it was "baseball been berry, berry good to me!".

They need subtitles for Ozzie. And do what I do Son of a Son, turn the volume down and crank some music up. I'd rather listen to Justin Bieber than Joe Buck, he puts me to sleep.
