Ive always been a huge fan of comedy.....Carlin, Cosby, Pryor, Steve Martin were my favorites as a kid. I listened to those albums over and over again for years as if comedy had died. Surviving on Stern, Phil Hendrie and Loveline on radio to fill the gaps.

Enter the late 2000s. and the digital media age. Adam carolla started his podcast in late 2009. He was pretty green but he booked solid guests and anyone who listened , heard the best on the comedy circuit at any given time. Jay Mohr, Louis CK, Dana gould, David allan greer, and many many more. Most of those guys have started their own podcasts now. the corrolla show today has all the production value of Stern in his prime.

If you like comedy, There are unlimited quality shows available at no charge. All are searchable on itunes. They make mundane duties tollerable.

Here are my favorites. please post yours

1)adam carolla
2)Mohr Stories with Jay Mohr
3)The Wright Turn (with Daryl Wright)
I call into this show as "sneezy beltran"
4)The Dana Gould Hour
5)the crabfreast

These are great times.

Thanks for the tips. I enjoy Adam.

Comedian wise I have been listening to a good amount of Maria Bamford and Craig Shoemaker. Also been going back and digging up Emo Phillips.

Doug Benson's "Doug Loves Movies" is pretty awesome. He's hilarious...

Surprised to not see WTF on your list. If you like comedy you have to listen to Marc Maron's WTF. I also like Pete Holme's podcast, You Made It Weird.

I listened to maron once , even before carolla went live and registered a meh. I need to give it another listen.

If you prefer Carolla's new format to his old one and Maron's then I might have misinterpreted what you're calling a 'Comedy Podcast'. You seem to be looking for one that is comedy and makes you laugh, I was thinking of ones that discusses comedy and comedians. Since that's the case, I agree that you should check out Doug Loves Movies.
