You've worked too hard to be making silly mistakes and costing us medals - especially the gold ones. Stay focused!
One example is our fencing team ladies that were 1, 2 and 3 in the individual evants and were heavy favorites in the team and didnt' get their acts together but fortunately held onto the bronze. This would have ordinarily been great but in view of what happened in individual evnts it is disappointing indeed. Thank goodness Ukraine held on to beat China by one point to keep China from getting another gold. We can't miss these type of opportunities. Go USA!

Now the two Williams sisters let us down and worse yet to two Chinese ladies. Good Grief! And we can't say it was a surprise because Communist countries in the 60s and 70s were known to spring their best athletes at the Olympics and this was or at least should have been anticipated that China would do the same so we knew we needed to be at our serious best.
