Colts @ Texans 10/5 could be at Rice Stadium

Rice Stadium is one of my favorites - nice design, good sight lines, wide walkway all the way around. They will probably be scrambling, though, if they want to untarp and use all 70K seats. Last time I was there, the tarped off end zone areas were covering really old wooden bleacher seats that were unusable. But hey, maybe RIce can get some stadium renovation $$ outta this deal and host a few Texans games.
 
my understanding is that the tarps were put there as the bleachers were completely unusable...that being said most of the damage at Reliant is roof damage (or so I heard) thus just play without the roof and be done with it
 
I think the problem with that is if it rains hard; since the stadium was built with a retractable roof, the field has no pitch and therefore won't drain like you'd want for a game...
