NY Giants v. Seattle kicks off at 3:05 pm central time today. I will have access only via the NFL Red Zone channel, so I won't see every snap. If any of my fellow posters here are interested in Colt and have access to the entire game, please keep us updated about how he is doing. Thank you.

Colt had driven the Giants into the red zone, but on third and 8, threw a pass that went right through his receiver's two hands, and Qandre Diggs intercepted the tipped pass for a very long run back.

Hard to believe Colt has been in the league 11 years already. And based on today he will probably be in a few more because every team wants a capable backup who can step up in a pinch. Can make some pretty good bank as lifetime backup and you retire with your body healthy and brains not concussed all to hell.

He got the job done and New York is now the leader in the NFC East with a 5-7 record.

The thing that helps him above all else is that he knows his role. The ego doesn't intrude into the equation.

Colt isn't ever going to put up flashy numbers but he generally is not going to cost you a game that he was given time to prepare for. The INT early in the game yesterday really isn't on him (any more than the one on Wilson was on Russ). If the pass is there, the receiver HAS to hold onto the ball...period.

And yes...I did have faith in him to manage the game well...I took the Giants and the ten points as one of my top-line entries at Circa. 4-0 on the week with one game pending.

This was the first NFL game I have watched this year that was not a Cowboys game. Colt started out shaky, but the Giants defense played lights out and kept them in the game. After halftime, Colt looked a lot more comfortable and started making some plays with great help from the Giants running game.

Colt threw a nice TD pass, as well as a nice pass for a 2 point conversion and was able to win the game.

After the game, while Russell Wilson sulked on the sideline, Colt was having a friendly conversation with Longhorns on the Seahawks, Diggs and Poona Ford. Don't know if Dickson joined after the cameras cut away.

I was happy for Colt. He is a class act and a true Longhorn legend.

Giants stupidly started Daniel Jones today even though he clearly wasn't 100%. He was noticeably favoring one leg, and looked like a complete statue in the pocket. Not a single carry on the day, and sacked 6 times. Giants lost 26-7.

No idea if Colt would have done better, but it was blindingly evident that Jones was not ready yet and needed another week of recovery. Not a sign of a well-run franchise to risk the health of their young high draft pick like that, while simultaneously refusing to trust a competent veteran they have behind him.

I didn't watch it, but flipped the channel and thought they said Colt was sacked 9 times?
They put Colt in late to protect Jones from further damage when the game was already out of hand, and Colt was sacked twice (Jones was sacked six times before he was taken out)
